Cangkir is a Bahasa Indonesia word that means ‘cup’ and is a term closely associated to the activity of hanging out with friends, chit-chatting over coffee or tea. This artwork is a diptych (each measuring 150 x 100 cm), paying a tribute, of sorts, to the favourite pastime among artists, where they frequently share ideas or debate about their art.
