Young Malaysian artist Kimberley Boudville is a multi-disciplinary artist. Her works are deeply personal and intimate as she shares her thoughts and emotions of coping with grief, loss and death through her art after the passing of her father and grandmother. She works with various mediums from oil paintings to ink drawings, but she best known for her sculptural installations such as her graduating installation of crystalised taxidermied butterflies encased in bell jars which earned her the Best of the Best of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2021.

In the five years that Kimberley has been active her talent has gained notice through the group exhibitions and various art competitions that she’s participated in. Her debut solo in 2020, “My Journey”, was selected by a regional online art website to be featured in their online exhibition showcase.

She holds a Bachelors of Honours in Fine Art Practice at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore and a Diploma in Fine Arts at The One Academy in 2018 where she was awarded Best of Fine Arts of 2017 and 2018. In 2020, her children’s story “Mean Millie” was picked up by a US-based publisher and is expected to be released before the end of the year.

The career of this young multi-talented artist holds much promise, and we believe a name to look out for in the coming years.
